Product Description

This delicately crafted Mammoth Ivory sculpture displays three cats playing amidst verdant vines on a cliff.
Look at the small cat climbing over the large cat while the large cat looks amusingly at it.
The master carver has managed to visualize and detail the fur of the cats, each whisker on the cat is clearly visible.
Notice the paws, nails and the clear curves on the feline.
Check out the details on the different sized cats, and see how carefully the artist has managed to sculpt the tail, expressions on the feline faces and the dimensions of the cats.
The master carver’s sign is prominent on the front and authenticates the carving as original.

The fur is clearly visible on the cat’s body and you can notice the eyes, mouth and the clear lines that are delineated.
Notice the cats in different positions on the cliff with vines and trees, and the raw dark brown edges of the Mammoth Ivory tusk have been left as it was found.
As Mammoth Ivory tusk is sourced from extinct wooly mammoths, excavated from deep permafrost in the Siberian and Arctic regions, the tusk shave absorbed the minerals, discoloring the cream ivory to brown surfaces.
