Look at the intricate details of the waves, delicate foam formation and the webbed feet of the dragons are clearly visible.
See the uniformity of the dragon skin scales, even though each scale is clearly visible, the clean lines, perfect curves are very difficult to carve in solid ivory but it shows the expertise and skill of the artist.
It is signed by the artist and that is an authentication that it is genuine ivory.
Notice the creamy white ivory that is spangled with flecks of deep brown, which is natural pigmentation due to being buried under the tundra for eons. With centuries under the mineral rich soil, the ivory tusk absorbed the minerals and that has given it the dark brown exterior, natural pigmentation of the inner ivory.
The front of the Mammoth ivory tusk piece is set upon a custom designed and carved teakwood base which not only provides support to accentuate the beauty of the tusk.
Look at the deeply engraved wooden carvings and the beautiful table-like design.
The complete sculpture is indeed a work of fine art. All Mammoth Ivory used in the sculpture is legal, authentic and organic sourced from the Arctic permafrost.
