Mammoth Ivory Trimmings

Ivory trimmings can be used for making jewelry, small carvings, mosaic knife scales, beads, inlays and other small projects. They are a good alternative to high-grade ivory if a project does not involve large chunks of solid material. These trimmings are mostly leftovers from production of pistol grips and large carvings. All pieces are dry, stable and will not crack. They have a variety of colors, ranging from white to brown and blue. Some of these pieces have fossilized bark, while others have mostly interior material.
